Dr. Peterson completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemisty and Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Dr. Peterson then earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota prior to entering a five year residency in General Surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Following his chief residency year, he gained his Board Certification in General Surgery and worked as a General Surgeon in Vancouver, Washington.
Dr. Peterson’s patients’ best interests are always a top priority, and because of this he has chosen to make a full commitment of his medical and surgical practice to the specialty of cosmetic surgery by dedicating a full year to a Fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery under Dr. Nuveen, Dr. Miller, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
He is married and has a one year old son. His wife Brandy is an oncology nurse. Outside interests include biking, hiking, camping, sports, travel, and spending time with his family.
